Common questions about the Chernabog (Fantasia) Pop! Disney from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Chernabog (Fantasia) Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2020 Disney line, meaning it was widely available in retail stores and online. While specific color variants or exclusive versions might be harder to find, the standard SKU 991 figure is a common collectible.
The retail value of the Funko Pop! Chernabog (Fantasia) #991 is typically around $12.99. As a standard production figure from 2020, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, with used copies generally selling for between $5 and $15 depending on condition.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Chernabog (SKU 991), first verify that the box is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the product number 991 is clearly printed on the packaging. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy paint, misaligned eyes, or poor plastic quality. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, comparing your item side-by-side with high-resolution images of a verified genuine SKU 991 from 2020 will help identify any discrepancies in color or proportion.
The Chernabog (Fantasia) Pop! Disney was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Chernabog (Fantasia) Pop! Disney vinyl figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retail channels. While it may occasionally appear on the secondary market through resellers, new stock is no longer being produced by the manufacturer.
To grade a Funko Pop! figure, you should first inspect the vinyl for common defects such as paint overspray, chipping, or molding seams, and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and the packaging is intact if it is sealed. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the item's condition relative to their specific grading scale.
