Common questions about the Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television figure (SKU 956) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2020 release wave for the series *The Good Place*, and it was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific color variants or limited editions might have lower production numbers, the standard vinyl figure is a common collectible.
The value of a Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television figure (SKU 956) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. Generally, an unopened, mint-condition figure typically sells for between $15 and $25, while an opened figure in good condition usually ranges from $5 to $10. Prices for rare variants or damaged items will differ, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current market value.
To authenticate your 2020 Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television (SKU 956), verify that the figure is made of standard vinyl with a matte finish and that the box features the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number on the side. Check for consistent paint application, particularly on the facial features and clothing, as poor paint jobs are a common indicator of counterfeits. Additionally, ensure the packaging includes the correct copyright notices and that the figure’s proportions match the official product images, as unauthorized reproductions often have distorted shapes or incorrect color tones.
The Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television figure (SKU 956), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Chidi Anagonye Pop! Television, inspect the vinyl surface for any mold lines, paint transfer, or scratches, paying close attention to the head and hands where defects are most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated on its base without excessive wobble and that the packaging window is free of cracks or heavy scuffing if you are evaluating the sealed box. Since this is a standard 2020 release, significant grading services like PSA are rarely used for this specific item, so a visual inspection for major flaws is the standard practice for determining its condition.
