Common questions about the Chimchar Pop! Games from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Chimchar Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s 2024 Pokémon Games series, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers. While specific sub-variants like Chase or Glow-in-the-Dark editions may be scarcer, the standard SKU 963 figure is a common collectible.
The Chimchar Pop! Games figure (SKU 963) is a standard retail item released in 2024, and its value is typically determined by current market demand rather than a fixed appraised price. As a recent release, it generally trades near its original retail price, with values fluctuating based on condition and availability on secondary markets. I cannot provide a precise real-time monetary figure, so you should check current listings on platforms like eBay or StockX for the most accurate market valuation.
To authenticate your 2024 Chimchar Pop! Games figure (SKU 963), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself matches the official product images for that specific release. Inspect the vinyl for consistent color saturation, sharp sculpting details, and the absence of excess plastic flash, which are common indicators of counterfeit items. Additionally, check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and ensure the box includes the correct SKU number and copyright information. If the figure feels lightweight, has a rough texture, or the paint job appears uneven compared to authentic examples, it is likely a replica.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the 2024 Chimchar Pop! Games figure (SKU 963) is currently in print. As a 2024 release, it may still be available through select retailers, but Funko frequently discontinues specific game-related figures, so availability is likely limited and subject to change.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned parts, as well as checking the box for any damage. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party authentication and grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and box's condition. Note that the specific SKU 963 provided in your query does not correspond to a standard 2024 Chimchar release, so you should verify the exact product variant before seeking a grade.
