Common questions about the Chucky Pop! Movies from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2022 as part of Funko’s regular movie line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in retail stores or through online resellers.
The standard retail value for the 2022 Chucky Pop! Movies (SKU 1249) is typically between $12 and $15 for a new, sealed figure. Because this is a common release from a major franchise, it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price, and used copies generally sell for less than the new market rate.
To authenticate your 2022 Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, high-quality box with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself has smooth, consistent paint application without visible mold lines or flash. Check the base of the figure for a clear, legible copyright mark and the specific SKU number, and compare the proportions and facial details against official Funko product images, as counterfeit figures often feature distorted features or poor paint quality. If the item appears suspicious, you can submit photos to the Funko community forums or contact Funko customer service for a definitive verification.
The Chucky Pop! Movies was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, availability is inconsistent and prices often exceed the original retail value.
Funko Pop! figures do not have an official grading system comparable to trading cards, so value is determined by visual inspection of the item's condition. You should check for common defects such as paint errors, seam lines, chipped plastic, or missing parts, and verify that the figure is in its original, unopened box if you are assessing it as a sealed collectible. For a formal condition report, you can submit the item to third-party authentication services like PSA, which will assign a grade based on the figure's and packaging's physical state.
