No, the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249) is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production item released in 2022 as part of Funko's regular catalog, meaning it was widely available and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249) is a standard retail release from 2022, and its value is primarily determined by whether it is new in box or opened. As a common item, it typically sells for less than its original retail price on the secondary market, generally ranging from $5 to $10 for sealed copies. Opened figures usually have minimal value, often selling for only a few dollars.
To authenticate your Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the correct product title, and check that the plastic figure is solid with no visible seams, air bubbles, or paint overspray. The base should be flat and securely attached, and the figure should match the official Funko product images for this specific 2022 release. If the packaging appears damaged, the plastic feels brittle, or the colors are significantly off, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it side-by-side with a verified authentic example is the most reliable method.
The Chucky Pop! Movies was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, availability is limited to existing inventory from resellers.
Condition-checking a Chucky Pop! Movies figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint transfer, or cracks, with particular attention to the knife and any articulated joints. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated within the window of its original box, as a loose figure or damaged packaging significantly impacts its value. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a professional third-party grading service, though most collectors simply assess the item as "mint in box" or "open box" based on visual inspection.
