No, the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249) is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production item released by Funko in 2022 as part of their regular movie line, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of the 2022 Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249) varies significantly based on condition and whether it is sealed or loose. As a standard mass-produced vinyl figure, it typically sells for a few dollars to around $10 in the secondary market, with sealed copies generally commanding a slightly higher price than opened ones.
To authenticate your Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself matches the 2022 release specifications for the Child's Play character. Inspect the paint application for consistent color and check that the plastic is free of major mold lines or seams, which are common indicators of counterfeits. Additionally, confirm that the figure stands properly on its base and that the eyes are correctly aligned, as these details are often poorly executed in fakes. If the packaging and physical quality align with these standards, the item is likely authentic.

Funko has discontinued the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), meaning it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from official retail channels. Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure like the Chucky Movie edition involves inspecting the vinyl for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections under bright, direct light. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated in its base and that the original box is free from significant dents, creases, or fading, as these factors heavily influence collectible value. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade, most collectors perform a visual inspection at home to assess the item's overall state before purchase.
