No, the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249) is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production item released by Funko in 2022 as part of their regular movie licensing line, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and has a high production volume compared to limited-edition or exclusive variants.
The value of the 2022 Chucky Pop! Movies (SKU 1249) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically commanding a premium over open ones. As a standard retail release, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, often ranging between $10 and $15 for open copies in good condition. Prices for sealed units may be slightly higher, but this item is not considered a rare collectible, so it does not usually appreciate beyond its market value.
To authenticate your 2022 Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), first verify that the box is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the printed SKU on the bottom of the box matches the official Funko catalog listing. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or off-color plastics. You can further confirm authenticity by cross-referencing the item's appearance and packaging design against verified listings on the official Funko website or reputable collector forums.

Funko has discontinued the Chucky Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1249), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. While it is no longer available through standard channels, used copies may occasionally be found on secondary markets such as eBay or Amazon, though prices often exceed the original retail value.
You can assess the condition of a Chucky Pop! Movies figure by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or discoloration and checking the articulation points for looseness. If the figure is in its original box, verify that the packaging is free from dents, tears, and yellowing, as these factors significantly impact collectible value. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a professional third-party grading service, though this is less common for standard Pop! figures compared to high-end trading cards.
