No, the Cindy-Lou Who Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2019 release of *The Grinch* movie figures and was widely available through major retailers. While specific variants like Chase editions are rare, the standard SKU 661 figure is a common collectible that is frequently found in new or used condition.
The Cindy-Lou Who Pop! Movies figure (SKU 661) typically sells for between $10 and $15 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Prices can vary slightly based on current demand and seller pricing, but it generally trades near or slightly below its original retail value.
To authenticate your Cindy-Lou Who Pop! Movies (SKU 661), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a matte finish and that the paint application is clean without significant bleed or excess. Check the base for a smooth, uncracked surface and ensure the "Funko" logo and copyright information are clearly printed and legible. You can also compare the proportions and specific design details, such as the shape of her hair and the texture of her dress, against high-resolution images of the official 2019 release to spot any manufacturing inconsistencies.
The Cindy-Lou Who Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Cindy-Lou Who Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, availability is limited to used or third-party stock.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint transfer, or molding defects, as well as verifying that the box is free of dents, creases, and label damage. For a formal grade, you should submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and packaging's overall quality. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times can vary, and the process may reduce the item's value if it is not in near-mint condition.
