Common questions about the Clark Griswold Pop! VHS Covers from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Clark Griswold Pop! VHS Covers figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2022 release of the VHS Covers line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally available for purchase at retail or on secondary markets.
The value of the Clark Griswold Pop! VHS Covers figure (SKU 13) depends heavily on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a 2022 release, it is generally available on the secondary market, typically selling for a modest premium over retail if unopened, while loose figures command significantly lower prices. I cannot provide a precise current market value without real-time access to live sales data from platforms like eBay or StockX.
To authenticate your 2022 Funko Pop! VHS Covers #13, verify that the box features the standard red and white Funko branding alongside the VHS Covers series logo and the correct product number. Check the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper molding of the VHS tape accessory, and the official Funko logo on the base. While there is no universal serial number database for individual units, significant deviations in color, plastic quality, or packaging details compared to verified retail examples are strong indicators of a counterfeit.
The Clark Griswold Pop! VHS Covers was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko discontinued the VHS Covers series in 2023, so the Clark Griswold Pop! (SKU 13) is no longer in print. It is not available to buy new directly from Funko or major retailers. You can only find this item in the secondary market, such as on eBay, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! VHS Cover primarily involves inspecting the vinyl record for surface scratches, scuffs, or warping, as well as examining the cardboard sleeve for creases, tears, or fading. You should also verify that the pop figure inside is intact and that the packaging is free from significant damage, as these factors directly impact the item's collectible value.
