Legitimate LEGO minifigures are manufactured exclusively by the LEGO Group, so authenticity is determined by verifying that the item is a genuine LEGO product rather than a third-party clone. To authenticate your Clone Commander Cody (SKU 40675), inspect the packaging for the official LEGO logo, check that the plastic has the standard LEGO quality and color consistency, and verify that the printed instructions and box art match the official 2024 release specifications. If the item lacks these official markings or appears to be a generic unbranded clone, it is not a genuine LEGO product.

To condition-check a LEGO Clone Commander Cody, inspect the minifigure for any signs of yellowing on the plastic, particularly on the white and tan elements, which indicates age or sun exposure. Check the joints and pegs for wear, ensuring the head, torso, and legs connect securely without excessive looseness, and verify that the paint on the face and armor details is intact. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must be in its original, unopened retail packaging, as grading services typically do not evaluate loose minifigures.
