No, the Cocaine Bear with Leg Pop! Movies is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2023 as part of their regular movie line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers.
The retail value of the 2023 Funko Pop! Cocaine Bear with Leg (SKU 1452) is typically between $12 and $15. As a standard release from a popular movie tie-in, its secondary market value generally remains close to retail price, with minor fluctuations based on condition and local demand.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Cocaine Bear with Leg (SKU 1452), verify that the box features the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a holographic security sticker, which are standard for 2023 releases. The figure itself should have a smooth, uniform vinyl finish with clean paint lines and the correct "Cocaine Bear" branding on the base. While Funko does not provide individual certificates of authenticity for standard retail items, checking these packaging and manufacturing details against images of verified genuine units is the most reliable method for confirming its legitimacy.
The Cocaine Bear with Leg Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Cocaine Bear with Leg Pop! Movies (SKU 1452), so it remains technically in print. However, availability for new units fluctuates significantly across retailers, and the figure is frequently sold out at major online and brick-and-mortar stores. While you may occasionally find new copies in stock, many collectors report that it is often only available through the secondary market at a premium.
Pop! Vinyl figures are generally not professionally graded by major third-party services like PSA, as they are mass-produced items that do not typically carry a premium value warranting the cost of encapsulation. To condition-check this specific figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint transfer, or mold lines, and verify that the "with leg" accessory is securely attached and free from stress fractures. Additionally, check the base for scuffing and ensure the packaging is intact if you are evaluating the item as a sealed product, since unboxed figures are valued primarily on their physical state rather than a formal grade.
