To grade a Sideshow Collectibles Commander Fox figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service such as CGC, which will evaluate the item based on specific criteria including paint condition, plastic integrity, and packaging completeness. For a self-inspection, examine the figure under bright, direct light to check for common defects like paint chipping, seam lines, or discoloration, and verify that the original box and accessories are present and undamaged. If the figure is in its original sealed packaging, the condition of the box itself is a primary factor in determining its market value.
