Common questions about the Conductor Mickey Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Conductor Mickey Pop! (SKU 428) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Pop! line that was widely available in retail stores and through Funko's official channels. While specific production runs may have ended, the figure remains common in the secondary market and does not command a premium price due to scarcity.
The value of a Funko Pop! Conductor Mickey (SKU 428) varies significantly based on condition and market demand, but unopened copies typically retail between $15 and $30. Because this is a standard production figure rather than a limited edition, its value is generally tied to the current secondary market price for new stock, which can fluctuate. For an accurate, real-time valuation, you should check recent sold listings on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles databases.
Funko Pop! figures do not have individual serial numbers, so authentication relies on verifying physical quality indicators such as the sharpness of the mold, the clarity of the window, and the presence of the official Funko logo on the base. You should compare your item against high-resolution images of the genuine SKU 428 Conductor Mickey to check for consistent paint application and packaging details. If the figure exhibits significant mold seams, off-center eyes, or poor paint coverage, it is likely a counterfeit.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! figures in their official records, so there is no verified launch date for the Conductor Mickey (SKU 428). While this figure is part of the Disney Pop! line, precise release timing is typically only available through third-party retailer stock history or collector community estimates rather than manufacturer documentation.
Funko has discontinued the Conductor Mickey Pop! (SKU 428), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retail channels. This figure is part of the retired Disney Pop! series, so availability is now limited to the secondary market, where prices typically exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, while also verifying that the box is free of dents, creases, and shelf wear. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and its packaging against specific grading standards. Keep in mind that most standard Pop! figures are not individually serialized, so their value is heavily dependent on the condition of the box and the presence of any original accessories.
