Common questions about the Connor Bedard Pop! Hockey from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Connor Bedard Pop! Hockey figure is not considered rare. As a mass-produced item from Funko's standard Pop! Hockey line, it was widely available to the general public and is not a limited edition or exclusive release. While specific variants like the Chase version are scarcer, the standard figure remains common in the secondary market.
The value of a Connor Bedard Pop! Hockey figure varies significantly based on condition, packaging, and market demand, but unopened figures typically trade in the range of $15 to $30. Prices for opened figures are generally lower, often falling between $8 and $15, depending on the specific edition and current collector interest. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
Funko Pop! figures do not have individual serial numbers, so you cannot verify authenticity through a unique identifier. To authenticate your Connor Bedard figure, examine the packaging for high-quality printing, correct logo placement, and the official Funko barcode, while checking the vinyl for consistent molding and paint application. Be aware that SKU 96 is not a standard identifier for a specific Connor Bedard release, as Pop! numbers vary by series and region, so you should verify the exact product number printed on the box against Funko’s official catalog. If the figure lacks a license sticker on the box or the vinyl feels unusually light and porous, it is likely a counterfeit.
Funko does not publish specific release dates for individual Pop! figures, and the Connor Bedard Pop! Hockey (SKU 96) does not have a widely documented launch date in public records. While the figure was likely released in 2023 following Bedard's entry into the NHL, I cannot confirm the exact release date without reliable information.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Connor Bedard Pop! Hockey figure, so it remains technically in print. However, availability for this specific SKU fluctuates significantly, and it is frequently out of stock on major retail sites. You should check current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized retailers to confirm if new units are available for purchase.
There is no official third-party grading service for standard Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To condition-check the figure, inspect it under bright light for common defects such as paint bubbles, seam lines, chipped plastic, or scratches on the vinyl surface. You should also verify that the figure is in its original sealed box if you are assessing it as a collectible, as unboxing significantly impacts its market value.
