Common questions about the Connor McDavid Pop! Hockey from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Connor McDavid Pop! Hockey figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's widely distributed hockey line. These figures are manufactured in large quantities and remain readily available through major retailers and secondary markets. While specific variants like Chase figures may be scarcer, the standard SKU 94 is a common collectible.
The Connor McDavid Pop! Hockey figure (SKU 94) is a standard retail item that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.00 to $15.00 in new, sealed condition. Because it is a mass-produced figure without special editions or limited print runs, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies generally have little to no value above face value.
To authenticate your Connor McDavid Pop! Hockey figure, verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo and that the figure itself has the characteristic vinyl material, painted eyes, and smooth finish typical of the line. Check the back of the box for a valid UPC code and ensure the figure matches the specific design of SKU 94, including the correct jersey number and team colors. If the figure feels unusually light, has sharp edges, or the paint is chipped in a way inconsistent with normal wear, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it to high-resolution images of the genuine product is recommended.
Funko does not publicly release specific manufacturing dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures, so the exact release date for the Connor McDavid Pop! Hockey (SKU 94) is not officially documented. While the figure was part of the initial wave of NHL players released by Funko, typically around 2016, precise launch dates for specific SKUs are not reliably available in public records.
The Connor McDavid Pop! Hockey figure (SKU 94) is currently out of print and no longer available for purchase new from Funko. As a result, the only way to acquire the item is through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
There is no official third-party grading service for standard Funko Pop! figures, so condition is assessed visually by collectors using a scale from Mint to Poor. You should inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and scuffs, and check the head for any misalignment or "head tilt" relative to the body. Additionally, verify that the figure is undamaged and that the original box is intact, as box condition significantly impacts resale value.
