The Cowardly Lion Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is part of Funko's standard mass-production line for the 2024 release. These figures are widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning they do not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive variants.
The retail value for a new, unopened Funko Pop! Movies Cowardly Lion (SKU 1515) is typically around $12.99 to $14.99. As a standard release from the 2024 catalog, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price in the secondary market, with used copies generally trading for less than the new retail cost.
To authenticate your 2024 Funko Pop! Cowardly Lion (SKU 1515), verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct paint application and sculpt details consistent with the 2024 release. Check the bottom of the figure for the standard Funko logo and copyright markings, and ensure the packaging matches the official product images for that specific SKU. If the box lacks the proper security features or the figure exhibits poor paint quality, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it side-by-side with verified listings from reputable retailers is the most reliable method for confirmation.

To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold seams, and verify that the head is properly aligned with the body without gaps. Examine the base for scuffs, cracks, or discoloration, and ensure the window is free of scratches, cloudiness, or peeling.
