Common questions about the Crazy Monkey Special Editions from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Funko does not publish specific production numbers for the 2019 Crazy Monkey Special Editions, making it difficult to definitively classify them as rare based on verifiable data. While special edition variants generally have lower print runs than standard vinyl figures, their current scarcity and market value depend on availability and collector demand rather than a confirmed limited quantity.
The value of Funko Crazy Monkey Special Editions from 2019 varies significantly based on the specific character, condition, and whether the item is sealed in its original box. While standard retail prices for these collectibles typically range from $15 to $30, rare or highly sought-after variants can command higher prices on the secondary market. For an accurate appraisal, it is best to check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay for the specific figure you own.
Funko does not manufacture a product line called "Crazy Monkey Special Editions," and there is no record of a 2019 release by this name. Because this item does not appear in Funko's official catalog or known special edition lists, it is likely a misidentified product, a third-party novelty item, or a counterfeit. To authenticate any Funko product, you should verify the packaging for the official Funko logo, check the barcode against the manufacturer's database, and examine the vinyl quality and paint application for consistency with genuine releases.
The Crazy Monkey Special Editions was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko discontinued the production of the 2019 Crazy Monkey Special Editions, meaning they are no longer in print. These items are currently only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Crazy Monkey Special Editions are not graded by professional third-party grading services like PSA, Beckett, or CGC, as these companies do not typically grade Funko Pop vinyl figures. To condition-check the item, you should inspect the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as seam lines, paint overspray, or mold issues, and verify that the figure is in its original, unopened box with intact shrink wrap. Because these items are mass-produced collectibles, their value is primarily determined by the condition of the packaging and the rarity of the specific edition, rather than a formal numerical grade.
