Common questions about the Crazy Monkey Special Editions from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Funko does not publicly release specific production numbers for the 2019 Crazy Monkey Special Editions, making it difficult to assign a definitive rarity rating based on scarcity. While special edition variants are generally produced in smaller quantities than standard vinyl figures, the lack of official data means collectors must rely on market availability and secondary pricing to gauge current rarity.
The value of 2019 Funko Crazy Monkey Special Editions varies significantly based on the specific character, condition, and whether the item is sealed in its box. Generally, unopened figures from this line typically trade in the range of $10 to $30, while opened figures are often worth less. For precise current market values, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most reliable method.
Funko does not manufacture a product line called "Crazy Monkey Special Editions," and there is no record of such an item in their 2019 release catalog. Because this specific title does not correspond to any known Funko product, the item you possess is likely a counterfeit, a mislabeled third-party creation, or a confusion with a different brand. Without a verifiable manufacturer match, it is not possible to authenticate it as a genuine Funko collectible.
The Crazy Monkey Special Editions was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko discontinued the production of the 2019 Crazy Monkey Special Editions, meaning they are no longer in print. These items are currently only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Crazy Monkey Special Editions are not graded by major third-party certification companies like PSA, CGC, or Beckett, so you cannot obtain a standardized numerical grade for them. To assess condition, you should inspect the vinyl figure for common defects such as paint transfer, scratches, mold lines, or missing accessories, and verify that the original packaging is free from significant wear, tears, or fading.
