The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Dante Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-produced item released by Funko in 2023 to coincide with the film's theatrical release, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The Dante Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1482) is a standard retail item released in 2023, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it is sealed in the box. As a common release, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, which was approximately $12 to $15, with sealed copies potentially commanding a slight premium while open figures usually sell for less.
To authenticate your Dante Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box displays the correct SKU 1482 and the 2023 release year, as these details align with the official Funko catalog for this item. Examine the physical figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding, and the standard Funko logo on the base, noting that authentic items typically feature a holographic sticker on the box. If the packaging appears damaged, the figure has poor paint quality, or the SKU does not match, it may be a counterfeit, so consulting a Funko authentication service or comparing it against verified listings is recommended.

Funko has not officially announced that the Dante Pop! Movies figure is discontinued, so it remains in print. However, availability for this specific SKU can fluctuate significantly depending on regional stock levels and retailer inventory, meaning it may be out of stock at major retailers at any given time.
Grading a Dante Pop! Movies vinyl figure involves inspecting it for common defects such as paint overspray, misaligned eyes, or molding seams, which are typical issues for Funko products. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors simply assess the item visually for these flaws to determine its market value. There is no official in-house grading system from Funko, so the condition is ultimately determined by the buyer's inspection of the figure's physical integrity.
