The Darkseid Pop! Heroes (SKU 388) is not considered rare, as it was a standard production figure released in 2021 and is widely available in the secondary market. It is a common item within the Pop! Heroes line, and its value is generally stable and accessible to most collectors.
The standard retail price for the 2021 Darkseid Pop! Heroes (SKU 388) is typically around $12.99, which serves as the baseline for its value. As a common release from a major manufacturer, its market value generally remains at or below retail price for loose figures, with sealed boxes occasionally commanding a slight premium. Specific variations, such as exclusive colorways or limited editions, would carry significantly higher value, but the standard version is widely available.
To authenticate your Darkseid Pop! Heroes (SKU 388), verify that the box features the official Funko logo and a barcode matching the 2021 release, and inspect the figure for consistent paint application and the standard "Pop!" branding on the base. Be aware that Funko has issued recalls for certain 2021 DC Heroes figures due to paint defects, so check for any official recall notices regarding this specific SKU. If the packaging, font, or figure quality appears inconsistent with known genuine examples, consider submitting the item to a third-party authentication service for a definitive assessment.

Funko has discontinued the Darkseid Pop! Heroes (SKU 388), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retail channels. Collectors seeking this figure must look to the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, scratches, or misaligned parts, particularly on the face and cape. You should also verify that the head is properly seated on the body and that the box is free of significant damage, as original packaging is crucial for maintaining value. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors simply assess the figure's visual integrity and box condition to determine its market value.
