No, the 2018 LEGO Darth Maul set (75537) is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release available through major retailers and the LEGO store, and it is not a limited edition, exclusive, or discontinued item that commands a premium due to scarcity.
The Darth Maul originally retailed for $29.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
Lego does not produce a standalone Darth Maul minifigure with SKU 75537, as that specific set number corresponds to the 2018 Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Resistance X-Wing Fighter, which features Poe Dameron and Finn. Because the item you described does not match official Lego production records for that year and SKU, it is likely a third-party reproduction or a mislabeled listing. To authenticate a genuine Lego product, you should verify that the packaging includes a holographic sticker, a printed set number, and a date code, and that the minifigure itself has the "LEGO" logo molded on the head.
The Darth Maul was released in 2018 by Lego.
Lego set 75537, Darth Maul, is no longer in production and is not available to purchase new directly from Lego. The set was released in 2018 and has since been discontinued, meaning it can only be found through the secondary market.
There is no official third-party grading service for individual LEGO minifigures, so you cannot obtain a standardized numerical grade like you would for a trading card. To assess the condition of the 2018 Darth Maul (75537), you should inspect the figure for signs of wear such as yellowing plastic, hairline cracks, or missing parts, and verify that the packaging is unopened and free of damage if you are evaluating the set as a sealed product.
