The Hot Toys 2025 Darth Vader figure (SKU 914299) is a standard production item, so authenticity is primarily verified by checking the UPC 4900000000000 and MPN HS10 against the manufacturer's official records. To authenticate your specific unit, inspect the packaging for correct branding and seal integrity, and verify that the figure's sculpt, paint, and articulation match the official product images. To grade a Hot Toys Darth Vader figure, inspect the paint for chipping, check the joints for looseness or play, and verify that all accessories and the display base are intact. Examine the vinyl or plastic for yellowing, scratches, or scuffs, and ensure the packaging is undamaged if you are evaluating the set as a sealed or opened item. For a formal grade, submit the figure to a recognized third-party grading service, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical criteria.
