No, the Darth Vader on TIE Fighter Star Wars Pop! is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Star Wars line that was widely distributed in retail stores and online retailers. While specific variants like Chase editions or limited exclusions may have lower print runs, the standard SKU 20 figure is a common collectible item.
The 2023 Funko Pop! Darth Vader on TIE Fighter (SKU 20) is a standard retail release that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.99 to $14.99 in new, sealed condition. Because it is a common, mass-produced item without special edition features, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and its value is generally limited to its face value for collectors completing a specific set.
To authenticate your 2023 Darth Vader on TIE Fighter Star Wars Pop!, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and a holographic security sticker, which is a standard anti-counterfeit measure for recent releases. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Pop!" branding on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or uneven seams. You can also cross-reference the SKU number 20 on the box against official Funko product listings to confirm the item matches the genuine 2023 release specifications.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the 2023 Darth Vader on TIE Fighter Star Wars Pop! (SKU 20) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2023 release, this figure is likely out of production, and availability for new units is typically limited to third-party resellers.
You should inspect the figure under bright, direct light to check for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or molding issues, paying particular attention to the TIE fighter's wings and Vader's helmet. Verify that the figure is securely attached to the base and that the packaging is free of dents, tears, or fading, as these factors significantly impact its value. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a professional third-party grading service, though this is typically reserved for high-value sealed boxes rather than individual loose figures.
