No, the David S. Pumpkins Pop! is not considered rare. It was released as part of the standard Saturday Night Live series in 2018 and was widely available in retail stores and online. While specific production numbers are not publicly disclosed by Funko, the item is common and frequently found in both new and used condition.
The value of a David S. Pumpkins Pop! SNL figure varies significantly based on condition and whether it is in its original packaging. As a standard 2018 release, an unopened box typically trades in the low to mid double-digit dollar range, while loose figures are worth considerably less. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific retailer, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate your David S. Pumpkins Pop! SNL, verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 03, which corresponds to the 2018 release. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a smooth finish, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy molding or faded colors. Additionally, check the bottom of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging includes the standard holographic sticker and copyright information.

To grade a David S. Pumpkins Pop! SNL, first inspect the vinyl figure for common defects such as paint overspray, molding seams, or discoloration, paying close attention to the eyes and the microphone prop. Verify that the original box is undamaged, with no creases, tears, or faded printing, as the box condition significantly impacts the item's value. For a formal grade, submit the sealed figure to a recognized third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of both the figure and its packaging.
