The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Dead Boris Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It was part of the standard 2018 release of the Pop! Games line, which included a wide variety of characters from the *Mortal Kombat* franchise. Because it was produced in standard quantities and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it is generally readily available on the secondary market.
The Dead Boris Pop! Games figure (SKU 290) is a standard retail item from 2018 that typically sells for between $10 and $20 in new condition on the secondary market. Its value is generally lower than its original retail price due to the high production volume of Funko Pop! figures and the character's limited mainstream appeal. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on local demand and the specific condition of the packaging.
To authenticate your 2018 Dead Boris Pop! Games figure, verify that the packaging includes the official Funko logo, a barcode, and the specific SKU number 290. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application and sharp sculpting details, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or rough seams. You can also cross-reference the box art and character design against official Funko product listings to ensure accuracy.
The Dead Boris Pop! Games was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Dead Boris Pop! Games figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2018 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new units are only available through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or molding defects. Check the box for any damage, as the packaging significantly impacts the value of sealed items. For unsealed figures, look for signs of previous display such as dust, fingerprints, or missing accessories.
