The Demogorgon Pop! Television (SKU 428) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from 2017. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko’s own channels, making it a common item in the Stranger Things collection.
The value of the 2017 Demogorgon Pop! Television (SKU 428) fluctuates based on market demand and condition, but it typically sells for between $10 and $25 when new in box. Because this is a common figure from a popular series, it does not command a premium price like limited editions or rare variants, so you should check recent sold listings on platforms like eBay to determine the current market rate.
To authenticate your Demogorgon Pop! Television (SKU 428), verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number printed on the side or bottom. Check the figure itself for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Pop!" branding on the base, as counterfeits often exhibit blurry printing or poor paint coverage. While there is no single universal authentication certificate for standard vinyl figures, comparing your item against verified images of the 2017 release and ensuring the packaging matches the original design are the most reliable methods for confirming authenticity.
The Demogorgon Pop! Television was released in 2017 by Funko.
The Demogorgon Pop! Television (SKU 428) is considered out of print and is no longer available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2017 release, it is now a discontinued item, meaning new stock is limited to any remaining inventory at third-party retailers or the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Demogorgon Pop! Television primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or chipped edges, particularly on the tentacles and face. You should also verify that the figure is securely attached to the base and that the box is free from significant damage, as the packaging is a major factor in the item's value. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors assess these items visually based on the presence of flaws and the integrity of the original box.
