Common questions about the Demogorgon Pop! Television Special-Edition (SE) from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Demogorgon Pop! Television Special-Edition is not considered rare in the collectibles market. As a mass-produced item released in 2022, it was widely available through major retailers and Funko’s direct channels, resulting in a high production volume. Consequently, it is generally easy to find in both new and used conditions at standard retail prices.
The value of the 2022 Demogorgon Pop! Television Special-Edition varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically trading between $15 and $30 on the secondary market. Because this is a common release from a major franchise, it does not command a premium price compared to limited-edition variants, and its value is largely determined by current local demand and shipping costs.
To authenticate your 2022 Demogorgon Pop! Television Special-Edition, first verify that the figure is sealed in a window box with the "Special Edition" banner and the specific 2022 release date printed on the packaging. Inspect the figure itself for high-quality paint application, particularly on the tentacles and mouth, and ensure the plastic is free of the excessive seams, flash, or cloudiness often found in counterfeits. Additionally, check that the Funko logo on the base is crisp and that the box's barcode and UPC number match the official listings for that specific release. If the packaging feels flimsy or the print quality on the box is blurry, the item is likely a replica.

The Demogorgon Pop! Television Special-Edition (SE) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a limited-run special edition, it has been discontinued, meaning the only way to acquire one is through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms or local collectors.
You can grade a Demogorgon Pop! Television Special-Edition by submitting it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, Beckett, or CGC, which will encapsulate the figure and assign a numerical score based on its physical condition. If you prefer a less formal assessment, you can inspect the figure yourself for common defects like paint chips, seam lines, or scratches, noting that Special Edition figures often have unique surface textures that make minor imperfections more visible. Keep in mind that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the assigned grade will directly impact the item's resale value.
