Common questions about the Derek Jetter Pop! Sports Legends from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure is considered rare. It is a standard production item from a popular series, and its commonality is generally high compared to limited edition or special variant figures.
The value of a Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure (SKU 11) typically ranges from $5 to $15 for a new, unopened box, depending on current market demand. Because this is a standard, non-exclusive release from the early 2010s, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on condition, with sealed boxes generally fetching the highest amounts.
There is no official Funko Pop! Sports Legends figure for Derek Jeter, as the name "Jetter" appears to be a misspelling and the specific product does not exist in Funko's catalog. Consequently, any item claiming to be this specific figure is likely a counterfeit, a mislabeled third-party product, or a confusion with a different player. To authenticate a genuine Jeter figure, you would need to verify the correct spelling and check for the official Funko logo, a numbered base, and a holographic sticker on the box, but since this specific SKU and title are not recognized, the item is almost certainly not a legitimate release.
The specific release date for the Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure (SKU 11) is not reliably documented in available public records. While the Sports Legends line was launched in 2017, Funko does not typically publish exact release dates for individual figures in this series, making it impossible to confirm the precise month and year without speculation.
The Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure (SKU 11) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko or major retail partners. It is currently a discontinued item, meaning new stock is no longer being produced or distributed, and collectors typically must seek out pre-owned copies from secondary markets.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, as well as checking the box for damage. The "Sports Legends" line is a specific sub-series, so verify that the packaging matches the current release standards for that line to ensure authenticity. Since these figures are mass-produced, their value is primarily driven by the condition of the box and the figure itself, with unopened boxes generally commanding higher prices than opened ones.
