Common questions about the Derek Jetter Pop! Sports Legends from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure is considered rare. As a standard release in the Sports Legends line, it is generally available through regular retail channels and is not typically classified as a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of a Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is still in the box, and current market demand. Generally, these standard figures typically sell for between $5 and $15 on secondary markets like eBay. Prices can be higher for rare variants or if the figure is part of a complete set, but the standard retail price has usually depreciated since its initial release.
It is important to note that Derek Jeter, not "Jetter," is the correct spelling of the player's name, and Funko has not released a "Sports Legends" series featuring him; this specific item description appears to be fabricated or a mislabeling of a standard Pop! Vinyl. Because the product likely does not exist as described, you cannot authenticate it against official Funko records, and you should treat any listing for this specific SKU and title with extreme caution as it is likely a counterfeit or a scam.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for a "Derek Jetter Pop! Sports Legends" figure with SKU 11. While Funko has produced Derek Jetter figures in various lines such as the New York Yankees series, the specific "Sports Legends" designation and SKU number do not correspond to a verifiable release in standard Funko catalogs.
The Derek Jeter Pop! Sports Legends figure (SKU 11) is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a retired item from the Sports Legends line, it is only available through the secondary market, where prices typically exceed the original retail value.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pops, so condition is assessed visually by the buyer. You should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, misaligned eyes, cracks in the plastic, or damage to the packaging window. Check the base for scuffs and ensure the figure is securely seated, as loose joints or missing parts significantly impact value.
