The Dewback originally retailed for $299.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
Sideshow Collectibles did not release a Dewback statue in 2011, as the creature was not featured in the Star Wars films until *The Rise of Skywalker* in 2019. Consequently, any item claiming to be a 2011 Sideshow Dewback is likely a misidentified product, a third-party reproduction, or a misdated listing. To authenticate a genuine Sideshow piece, you should look for the company’s specific logo, a unique serial number on the base, and a certificate of authenticity, but you should first verify the correct release year and model name for the specific figure you possess.
The Dewback was released in 2011 by Sideshow Collectibles.
The Sideshow Collectibles Dewback from 2011 is a limited edition statue that is no longer in production. It is not available to purchase new directly from the manufacturer and is currently only obtainable through the secondary market, where prices typically exceed the original retail value.
Sideshow Collectibles does not issue official grading certificates for their statues, so you must rely on third-party grading services like CGC Statues or your own visual inspection. To condition-check a 2011 Dewback, examine the resin for stress fractures, particularly around the wings and tail, and check the paint for chipping or fading. Verify that the base is intact and that the figure stands securely without excessive wobble, as these are common issues with large, dynamic Sideshow pieces.
