As a standard release from a major manufacturer, its scarcity is typically determined by production numbers and market demand, which are not currently documented as limited in available records.
The Dilophosaurus (Fossil) Pop! Movies figure, released by Funko in 2024, is a standard retail item that typically trades at or near its original retail price, generally ranging between $10 and $15. As a recent release, it does not yet command a significant premium in the secondary market, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it is sold in its original sealed box.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Movies Dilophosaurus (Fossil), first verify that the packaging is intact and features the official Funko logo, the Pop! Movies branding, and the specific SKU 1680. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a solid base, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy painting, misaligned parts, or flimsy plastic. You can also cross-reference the product images and box design against official Funko listings or reputable retailer sites to ensure the visual details match the 2024 release specifications.

Funko does not publicly maintain a real-time inventory list for specific Pop! Movies figures, so the current print status of the Dilophosaurus (Fossil) (SKU 1680) cannot be definitively confirmed without checking live retailer stock. Because this item is from the 2024 release cycle, it may still be in print, but availability is subject to fluctuation and potential discontinuation. To determine if it is currently purchasable new, you should check major retailers such as Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website for live inventory.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! vinyl figure involves inspecting the physical integrity of the item rather than applying a formal numerical grade, as the brand does not have an official grading scale like trading cards. You should examine the vinyl for any cracks, hairline fractures, or paint imperfections, and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of bubbles. Additionally, check the packaging for signs of tampering, such as resealed boxes or missing hang tabs, to ensure the figure is in its original, unopened state.
