The Dilophosaurus Hatchling Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-produced release from Funko's 2024 lineup. It is widely available through major retailers and Funko's official channels, meaning it does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusivity required to be classified as a rare collectible.
As a 2024 release, the Dilophosaurus Hatchling Pop! Movies figure is currently trading at or near its original retail price, typically ranging between $10 and $15 for a new, unopened box. Because it is a recent addition to the Funko catalog, it has not yet developed a significant secondary market premium, and its value is unlikely to increase substantially unless it becomes a discontinued exclusive or gains specific collector interest.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Movies Dilophosaurus Hatchling (SKU 1718), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo, a scannable QR code, and the correct SKU number printed on the bottom or side. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a clear, unclouded vinyl finish, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry lines or off-color hues. You can further confirm authenticity by checking the holographic sticker on the box and comparing the item against high-resolution images from Funko's official website or authorized retailers.

Grading a Dilophosaurus Hatchling Pop! Movies involves inspecting the vinyl figure for defects such as paint overspray, molding seams, or scratches, and checking the box for dents, creases, or lid misalignment. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of both the figure and its packaging. If you are not seeking a certified grade, simply assess the item against standard collector criteria, noting that a "Mint" condition requires the figure to be flawless and the box to be unopened and undamaged.
