The Doctor Psycho Pop! Heroes (SKU 498) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2024. It is widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning supply is consistent and it does not carry the limited-edition scarcity of exclusive or special variant figures.
The base retail price for the 2024 Doctor Psycho Pop! Heroes (SKU 498) is typically $12.99 USD. As a relatively new release, its secondary market value generally hovers near or slightly above retail, depending on local availability and demand for the character. Exact resale value fluctuates based on condition, packaging integrity, and current market trends on platforms like eBay or StockX.
To authenticate your Doctor Psycho Pop! Heroes figure, first verify that the SKU 498 matches the number printed on the box and the base of the figure. Inspect the paint application for consistency, check that the eyes are properly aligned, and ensure the figure stands level without wobbling. Compare the packaging quality, including the window seal and box corners, against known authentic examples, as counterfeiters often use flimsier cardboard or misprinted logos. If the figure feels lighter than expected or the plastic has a rough texture, it is likely a replica.
