No, the Domo Slimer Pop! Movies (SKU 143) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2015 lineup, meaning it was widely available in retail stores and online at the time of its launch. While its value may vary based on condition, it does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusivity status that define rare collectibles.
The Domo Slimer Pop! Movies (SKU 143) is a common 2015 release that typically sells for between $5 and $10 in new condition on the secondary market. Because it was produced in large quantities and is not a limited edition, its value remains low and stable. Prices may fluctuate slightly based on current demand for Ghostbusters merchandise, but it does not command a premium over its original retail price.
To authenticate your Domo Slimer Pop! Movies (SKU 143), verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the Domo co-branding, and that the vinyl figure has the correct paint application and sculpt details consistent with the 2015 release. Check the bottom of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number 143, which should match the printed code on the packaging. If the paint is sloppy, the vinyl feels unusually soft, or the box lacks standard security features like the holographic sticker, the item may be a counterfeit.

The Domo Slimer Pop! Movies (SKU 143) is considered out of print and is no longer manufactured by Funko. It is generally unavailable to buy new from official retailers and is typically found only in the secondary market through third-party sellers.
Condition-checking a Domo Slimer Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding imperfections, with particular attention to the character's translucent slime effect which can be prone to clouding or damage. You should also verify that the figure is securely attached to the base and that the box is free from significant wear, as the packaging is a major factor in the item's value. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a third-party grading service, though Funko Pops are generally not graded by major agencies like PSA, so most collectors rely on visual inspection and seller-provided photos.
