Common questions about the Donatello Pop! Comics from Funko (2025).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Donatello Pop! Comics (SKU 42) is not considered rare, as it is part of a standard, mass-produced series rather than a limited edition. It was released in 2025 as part of the regular Pop! Comics line, meaning it is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific color variants or exclusive versions might be harder to find, the base SKU 42 is a common collectible.
The value of a Donatello Pop! Comics figure depends heavily on its condition, whether it is still in the box, and current market demand. As a 2025 release, its value is primarily determined by retail price and collector interest in the specific character and series. Without a live market check, I cannot provide a precise dollar figure, but generally, unopened figures from recent releases often trade near or slightly above their original retail price.
To authenticate your Donatello Pop! Comics figure, first verify the SKU 42 matches the official Funko catalog for the 2025 release. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpt details, and a secure, undamaged base. Check the packaging for the official Funko logo, a clear window, and a matching SKU on the box. If the figure feels lightweight, has loose joints, or the paint is smudged, it may be a replica, so compare it against a verified authentic example if possible.

I cannot find reliable, up-to-date information confirming whether the Donatello Pop! Comics (SKU 42) is currently in print or available for new purchase. Availability of specific Funko Pop! Comics figures can fluctuate based on production runs and retailer stock, so checking current listings on major retailers or the official Funko website is recommended for the most accurate status.
To condition-check a Donatello Pop! Comics, first inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or hairline cracks, paying close attention to the head and limbs where wear is most common. Next, examine the packaging for any dents, tears, or faded printing, as the box condition significantly impacts the item's collectible value. If you are grading for resale, look for specific defects like a loose head or missing accessories, and note that the 2025 release with SKU 42 should be checked against the original retail packaging to ensure authenticity.
