Common questions about the Donatello Pop! Comics from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Donatello Pop! Comics figure (SKU 31) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2022 as part of a widely distributed series, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and remains readily available on the secondary market.
The retail value of the 2022 Donatello Pop! Comics figure (SKU 31) is typically around $12.99, which serves as the baseline for its worth. In the secondary market, unopened figures generally trade between $10 and $15, while opened figures usually sell for less, often in the range of $5 to $10 depending on condition. Prices can fluctuate based on current demand and availability, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate real-time valuation.
To authenticate your Donatello Pop! Comics figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, original Funko box with the correct SKU 31 and 2022 release date printed on the label. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor plastic quality. If the box is damaged or missing, you can cross-reference the figure's design against official Funko product images, though the absence of original packaging significantly reduces its collectible value.
The Donatello Pop! Comics was released in 2022 by Funko.
The Donatello Pop! Comics figure (SKU 31) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2022 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is limited to remaining inventory at third-party retailers or the secondary market.
To grade a Donatello Pop! Comics figure, you should submit it to a recognized third-party grading service such as PSA, which will evaluate the item based on specific criteria including paint condition, molding quality, and packaging integrity. The grading process typically involves inspecting the vinyl for scratches, scuffs, or misprints and checking the box for any damage, creases, or wear. While you can perform a preliminary visual inspection at home, a professional grade is required to establish a verified condition rating for resale purposes.
