The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Donatello Pop! Retro Toys figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production release by Funko in 2022. Unlike exclusive variants or limited-edition runs, this standard SKU was widely distributed through major retailers and online marketplaces. Consequently, it is generally easy to find in new condition, and its value is typically stable and modest.
The Donatello Pop! Retro Toys figure (SKU 105) is a standard retail release from 2022, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it remains sealed in its original box. As a common item from a popular series, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, typically ranging between $10 and $15 for a new, unopened unit. There is no significant premium for this specific figure in the secondary market compared to its initial MSRP.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Donatello Retro Toys figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct SKU number 105 printed on the base. Examine the paint application for consistency, as genuine figures typically have clean lines without significant bleeding, and check that the plastic is smooth without rough mold lines. If the packaging, font on the box, and the figure's proportions appear off, it is advisable to consult a professional authentication service or compare the item against verified high-resolution images from the manufacturer.

Funko has discontinued the Donatello Pop! Retro Toys figure (SKU 105), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. Collectors looking to acquire this specific item must rely on the secondary market, such as eBay or specialized toy resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by the seller or buyer using informal descriptors like "Mint," "Near Mint," or "Open Box." You should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or scratches, and verify that the box is free of significant damage, dents, or fading if you are purchasing it sealed. For the specific Donatello Retro Toys variant, check that the retro-style color scheme and any unique accessories are intact and free from discoloration.
