Common questions about the Donatello Pop! Television from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Donatello Pop! Television figure is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production release from the 2024 line and is widely available through major retail channels and online marketplaces.
The value of the 2024 Donatello Pop! Television figure (SKU 1554) depends heavily on its condition and whether it remains in the original sealed box. As a recent release, its market value is typically close to its original retail price, usually ranging between $10 and $15 for unopened copies. Opened figures generally have significantly lower resale value, often selling for less than $5, while sealed copies may command a slight premium if demand for the specific series increases.
To authenticate your 2024 Donatello Pop! Television figure, verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo, a UPC barcode, and a copyright notice indicating "© 2024 Nickelodeon" or similar licensing details. The figure itself should have a smooth, consistent vinyl finish with sharp, defined sculpting and accurate color application, particularly on the shell and bandana. Check the base of the figure for a molded copyright date and ensure the head articulation is firm and centered. If the packaging lacks these specific identifiers or the vinyl feels soft, porous, or poorly painted, the item is likely a counterfeit.
The Donatello Pop! Television was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific print run statuses or real-time manufacturing schedules for individual Pop! figures. Consequently, there is no official confirmation that the 2024 Donatello Pop! Television (SKU 1554) is currently in print. Availability of new stock fluctuates based on retailer inventory and regional distribution, so checking major retailers for current listings is the most reliable way to determine if it can be purchased new.
There is no official third-party grading service for standard Funko Pop! figures, so condition is assessed subjectively by collectors based on visible flaws. You should inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint transfer, or mold lines, and check the head for any "head tilt" or misalignment with the body. Additionally, verify that the figure is in its original sealed box with the window intact, as unboxed figures typically hold significantly less value.
