The Donatello with Pizza Pop! Movies (SKU 1609) is a standard 2024 Funko Pop! release, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it remains in the original box. As a common retail item, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, with sealed copies potentially commanding a slight premium while open figures usually sell for less. Specific market fluctuations can be checked on secondary marketplaces like eBay to see current asking prices.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Donatello with Pizza (SKU 1609), first verify that the packaging is intact and features the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number on the bottom of the box. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the absence of mold lines or flashing, which are common indicators of counterfeit items. Additionally, check that the base is solid and properly aligned with the figure's feet, as fakes often have loose or poorly attached bases. If the packaging is missing, comparing the figure's proportions and paint quality against high-resolution images of the official 2024 release is the most reliable method for verification.

As of 2024, the Donatello with Pizza Pop! Movies (SKU 1609) is generally considered out of print, as Funko typically discontinues production of specific movie tie-in figures once the theatrical release window closes. While new stock is no longer available from primary retailers, the figure may occasionally appear on the secondary market through third-party sellers, often at a premium over its original retail price.
You should inspect the figure under bright, direct light to check for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or molding imperfections on the vinyl surface. Pay particular attention to the pizza accessory and Donatello’s shell, as these areas are prone to stress cracks or chipping. If you are seeking a professional grade, submit the item to a recognized third-party grading service like PSA, noting that Pop! figures are typically graded on a 10-point scale based on their overall condition and completeness.
