Common questions about the Doomsday Pop! Heroes from Funko (2021).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Doomsday Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 408) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2021 lineup, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and has no limited production run or special exclusivity that would classify it as a rare collectible.
The value of the 2021 Doomsday Pop! Heroes (SKU 408) varies significantly based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $25 in retail stores. On secondary markets like eBay, prices for sealed figures generally range from $15 to $30, while open figures often sell for less. Because this is a standard production figure from a major movie tie-in, it does not command a premium price compared to limited edition or exclusive variants.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! requires checking for specific quality markers, such as a smooth, uniform plastic finish without visible mold lines or excess flash on the seams. Verify that the box features the correct SKU (408) and that the window is clean with no signs of tampering, as counterfeiters often use poor-quality printing and loose packaging. While there is no single definitive test, significant deviations in color accuracy, font alignment on the box, or the presence of a "F" logo on the base can indicate a fake. If you remain uncertain, consider consulting a professional authentication service or comparing your item side-by-side with a verified original from a reputable retailer.
The Doomsday Pop! Heroes was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Doomsday Pop! Heroes figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. This item is now considered out of print, meaning any remaining stock is limited to third-party sellers or private collections.
Pop! figures are generally not submitted to third-party grading services like PSA or CGC, as these companies do not grade standard vinyl collectibles. Instead, you should assess the condition yourself by checking for common defects such as paint chips, seam lines, or damage to the box, which significantly impact resale value. For a more objective assessment, you can consult online collector communities or use established price guides that account for specific flaws.
