No, the Dorothy & Toto Pop! Movies (SKU 1502) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released in 2024 as part of Funko's ongoing Pop! Movies line, meaning it is widely available through major retailers and the Funko website. While specific color variants or limited editions may be scarcer, the standard black-and-white version is a common collectible.
The retail price for the 2024 Funko Pop! Movies Dorothy & Toto (SKU 1502) is typically around $15 to $20, though exact pricing can vary by retailer. As a recent release, its secondary market value generally hovers near the original retail price, with slight premiums possible for sealed boxes in high demand. I cannot provide a precise current market valuation without real-time sales data, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay is recommended for the most accurate figure.
You can authenticate the 2024 Dorothy & Toto Pop! Movies (SKU 1502) by verifying that the box features the standard Funko logo and a scannable QR code on the back, which links to the official Funko product page. Check the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the correct copyright date on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or rough seams. If the packaging lacks a UPC barcode or the vinyl feels unusually lightweight compared to genuine Funko products, it is likely a replica.
The Dorothy & Toto Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly release a definitive list of which specific Pop! figures are currently in print versus out of print. While the 2024 release date suggests it may still be available, inventory fluctuates frequently across retailers. To confirm current availability, you should check the official Funko website or major authorized retailers directly, as stock status can change at any time.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pops, so condition is typically assessed by the seller or buyer based on visual inspection. You should examine the vinyl for common defects such as seam lines, paint overspray, scratches, or "pop eyes" that are misaligned or missing. For the Dorothy & Toto set, pay particular attention to the articulation of Toto's limbs and the integrity of Dorothy's dress and hat, as these are prone to stress fractures.
