No, the Dorothy & Toto Pop! Movies (SKU 1502) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's ongoing Pop! Movies line, meaning it is widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific variants or limited editions may have lower production numbers, the base figure is a common collectible.
The standard retail price for the 2024 Dorothy & Toto Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1502) is typically around $12.99, which serves as the baseline for its value. Because this is a recent release, its secondary market value generally remains close to the retail price unless the item is sold in a sealed, unopened box, which may command a slight premium. Specific market fluctuations depend on current local demand and the condition of the figure, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate real-time valuation.
Funko does not publish a public authentication service for individual Pop! figures, so there is no official way to verify a specific unit's authenticity beyond examining the physical product. You should inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, clear plastic molding without excess flash, and accurate logo placement on the box and base. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is generally considered authentic, but be wary of listings from third-party marketplaces that lack verifiable provenance.

I cannot confirm the current print status or immediate retail availability for the 2024 release of the Dorothy & Toto Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1502). Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as seam lines, paint overspray, or chipped details, as well as checking the box for any dents, scratches, or wear. For a formal condition check, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical grade based on the item's physical state. If you are not seeking a formal certificate, simply documenting the item's condition with clear photographs of the figure and box is the standard practice for private sales.
