The Dr. Egon Spengler Pop! Movies figure (SKU 743) is a standard retail release that typically sells for approximately $10 to $15 in new, sealed condition. As a common item from a major franchise, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market, and its value remains largely consistent with its original retail price.
To authenticate your Dr. Egon Spengler Pop! Movies figure (SKU 743), first verify that the box is a sealed, original Funko release with the correct 2019 copyright date and standard UPC labeling. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the proper Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit figures often exhibit blurry printing, rough seams, or incorrect color tones. If the packaging is missing or damaged, compare the figure’s specific proportions and accessory details against high-resolution images of the official 2019 release to rule out unauthorized reproductions.

You can assess the condition of a Funko Pop! by inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or misaligned eyes, and checking the box for any dents, creases, or damage to the window. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and box on a 10-point scale and assign a protective slab. Keep in mind that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the grade is subjective based on the specific defects present at the time of inspection.
