No, the Dr. Fate Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1235) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2022 as part of their general movie line, meaning it was widely distributed and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The standard retail price for the 2022 Dr. Fate Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1235) was approximately $12.99. As a common mass-produced item, its secondary market value typically hovers around or slightly below that retail price, with most listings on platforms like eBay and StockX selling for between $8 and $12. To authenticate your Dr. Fate Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1235), first verify that the packaging includes the official Funko logo, a UPC barcode, and a holographic sticker on the box. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper seam alignment, and the correct sculpting of the helmet and cape, as counterfeit items often feature sloppy detailing or off-color plastics. If the packaging appears damaged or the figure lacks these standard manufacturing markers, it may be a replica, so comparing it side-by-side with a verified authentic example is recommended.

Funko has discontinued the Dr. Fate Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1235), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. You should inspect the figure under bright, direct light to check for common defects such as paint chips, mold lines, or misaligned eyes, paying close attention to the intricate details of Dr. Fate's helmet and cape. Verify that the figure is securely seated on its base and that the box is free of significant damage, as the condition of the packaging often influences the item's value. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though this is less common for standard Pop! figures than for high-end collectibles.
