Common questions about the Dr. Finkelstein Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Dr. Finkelstein Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from the widely distributed Disney collection. It is a common release that is frequently available in retail stores and online marketplaces. While specific sealed boxes may command a premium over loose figures, the character itself is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of a Dr. Finkelstein Pop! Disney figure (SKU 451) fluctuates based on market demand, condition, and whether it is sold in its original packaging. As a standard retail item, its value is typically anchored to its original retail price, which is generally around $12.99 USD. For precise, current market valuations, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay, as live listings often do not reflect the actual selling price.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Dr. Finkelstein (SKU 451), first verify that the box is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the printed SKU on the bottom of the box matches the official listing. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy detailing or off-color plastics. You can also cross-reference the specific mold and paint variations against images from reputable collector communities or the official Funko website to confirm authenticity.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Funko Pop! Disney figure of Dr. Finkelstein with SKU 451. While Dr. Finkelstein is a character from the Disney film *Hocus Pocus*, Funko's SKU 451 is not widely documented in public databases as corresponding to this specific character, and Funko frequently reuses or assigns SKUs inconsistently across different product lines.
The Dr. Finkelstein Pop! Disney (SKU 451) is currently out of print and is no longer available to purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. While the figure may occasionally appear on the secondary market, Funko has discontinued production of this specific item.
To grade a Dr. Finkelstein Pop! Disney, you should first inspect the figure for common defects such as paint transfer, seam lines, or chipped plastic, particularly on the hands and feet. For a formal condition assessment, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and assign a numerical score based on its preservation. Keep in mind that standard Pop! figures are generally not graded by major services unless they are part of a specific sealed box or special edition program, so individual loose figures are typically valued by their visual condition rather than a certified grade.
