The Dr. Ian Malcolm (Wounded) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release from the 2018 *Jurassic Park* line and was widely available in stores and online at the time. The Dr. Ian Malcolm (Wounded) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 552) typically retails for approximately $12.99, and its secondary market value generally hovers around that retail price, often ranging between $10 and $15 depending on the seller and condition. Because this is a standard production figure from 2018 rather than a limited edition, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail cost.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Dr. Ian Malcolm (Wounded) (SKU 552), first verify that the box includes a holographic Funko sticker and that the figure itself has a small, embossed "Funko" logo on the bottom of its base. Check for consistent paint application, particularly on the wound details and clothing, as counterfeit figures often exhibit sloppy painting, misaligned parts, or a plastic smell that differs from the standard Funko vinyl. If you are still uncertain, you can cross-reference the SKU and year on the box against Funko's official catalog or consult a reputable authentication service for a definitive assessment.
