Common questions about the Dr. Zaius Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Dr. Zaius Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2024 as part of the Planet of the Apes movie series, and it is widely available through general retail channels and online marketplaces.
The Dr. Zaius Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1863) is a standard retail item with a manufacturer suggested retail price of approximately $12.99. As a common, non-limited release from 2024, its secondary market value typically remains at or below retail price, meaning it is generally worth around $10 to $13 depending on condition.
Authenticating a 2024 Funko Pop! requires checking for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the correct SKU 1863 printed on the base of the figure and the box. Verify that the box features the official Funko logo and that the figure’s proportions match the standard 3.75-inch size. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but any signs of sloppy paint, misaligned parts, or missing packaging elements suggest a counterfeit.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Dr. Zaius Pop! Movies (SKU 1863) is currently in print or available for new purchase. As a 2024 release, its availability may fluctuate, so checking current Funko inventory or authorized retailers is recommended to verify its status.
You should inspect the figure under bright light for common defects such as paint chips, seam lines, or mold imperfections, paying particular attention to the face and hands. Verify that the figure is fully sealed in its original box with the window intact, as any signs of tampering or damage to the packaging will significantly lower its value. If you require a formal grade for resale, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service, though this is typically only cost-effective for rare variants or high-demand items.
