The Dr. Zaius Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1863) is a standard retail release from 2024, and its value is typically determined by its original retail price, which was approximately $12.99. Because it is a recent mass-produced item, it does not command a premium in the secondary market, and its worth generally remains at or below its retail price unless it is part of a specific complete set.
To authenticate your Dr. Zaius Pop! Movies figure, verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the specific SKU 1863, and check that the vinyl figure has clean paint application and sharp sculpting details consistent with the 2024 release. Examine the packaging for high-quality printing and the presence of a holographic sticker, which is standard for genuine Funko products. Movies figure involves assessing its physical condition against standard collectible criteria, such as checking for paint wear, seam lines, and scratches on the vinyl surface. While you can perform a basic condition check at home by inspecting the figure under good lighting, obtaining an official grade requires submitting the item to a professional third-party grading service like PSA, CGC, or Beckett.
