Common questions about the Dragon Shield Red Ranger Pop! Television from Funko (2017).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Dragon Shield Red Ranger Pop! Television is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced release from Funko's 2017 lineup. These figures were widely available through major retailers and convention centers during that period, making them relatively common in the secondary market compared to limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of a Funko Pop! Television Dragon Shield Red Ranger (SKU 528) varies significantly based on condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard mass-produced figure from 2017, it generally trades in the secondary market for a modest price, typically ranging from $10 to $25 for loose figures and slightly higher for sealed boxes. Exact pricing fluctuates with current market demand, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX will provide the most accurate current valuation.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! Television figure like the Dragon Shield Red Ranger (SKU 528) involves checking for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the correct Funko logo on the base. You should verify that the figure matches the official 2017 release specifications, including the specific TV stand design and character articulation, as counterfeit versions often exhibit blurry logos, uneven seams, or incorrect color saturation. If the item lacks the standard Funko packaging or the base feels lightweight and poorly molded compared to genuine examples, it is likely a replica.
The Dragon Shield Red Ranger Pop! Television was released in 2017 by Funko.
The Dragon Shield Red Ranger Pop! Television is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2017 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock is likely limited to remaining inventory at third-party retailers or resellers.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Television figure involves inspecting the vinyl body for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, particularly around the edges and facial features. You should also verify that the clear plastic display case is free of cracks, scratches, or cloudiness, as the case is a critical component of the item's value. While third-party grading services like PSA do not typically grade standard Funko Pops, you can assess the item's grade by comparing its condition to established market standards for "Mint" versus "Near Mint" examples.
