Common questions about the Dragonsheen w/ Gem Pop! Pusheen from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Dragonsheen w/ Gem Pusheen Pop! is not considered rare in the collectibles market. It was part of a standard 2018 release series and was widely available through major retailers, resulting in a high production count. Consequently, it is a common item that is easily found in both new and used condition.
The Dragonsheen w/ Gem Pop! Pusheen (SKU 20) is a rare, limited-edition variant that commands a premium price significantly higher than standard Pusheen figures. While exact market value fluctuates based on condition and whether the item is sealed, these special edition figures typically sell for well over $100, often reaching several hundred dollars on the secondary market.
To authenticate your 2018 Dragonsheen w/ Gem Pop! Pusheen, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, unopened box with the correct SKU #20 and the 2018 release date printed on the label. Inspect the vinyl figure for the characteristic smooth finish and accurate color matching, and confirm that the gem accessory is securely attached and made of the expected material. If the box is damaged, opened, or the figure exhibits poor paint application, uneven seams, or incorrect proportions, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it side-by-side with verified images from Funko's official catalog is recommended.
The Dragonsheen w/ Gem Pop! Pusheen was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Dragonsheen w/ Gem Pop! Pusheen is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2018 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock found today would be from remaining retailer inventory or secondary market sellers.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, while also verifying that the eyes and ears are properly aligned and free of cracks. For the Dragonsheen variant, pay close attention to the gem accessory, ensuring it is securely attached and not chipped, as this is a common point of failure. If you are seeking a professional grade, submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the item's overall appearance and assign a numerical score based on their specific grading standards.
